Senior Management Team Restructuring
McCann’s win place on Agency’s Construction Management Framework.
J McCann’s have been confirmed as the electrical and motorway communications contractor of choice on the Highway Agency’s, Construction Management Framework joining eleven other specialist contractors appointed to deliver various aspects of this £300 million framework.
This unique framework calls for a range of contractors to work on network improvements and maintenance on the trunk roads and motorways encompassed within the Agency’s areas 9 and 10. Areas 9 and 10, includes Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Gloucestershire, Hereford and Worcester and the West Midlands.
Neal Simmons, the agency’s project sponsor and lead assessor said, a really strong feature of this framework would be its collaborative community approach, with each contractor being part of team, each with an equal voice, who will when appropriate help each other out whether they are working on a particular contract or not.
John McCann, McCann’s managing director said, ‘We are delighted to be offered this opportunity to work within such a forward thinking collaborative arrangement and look forward to being part of framework which, by deploying lean construction techniques meets motorists needs with ever increasing levels of value and efficiency’.
