Certification

J McCanns have embarked on a program to introduce a fully Integrated Management System (IMS) into the Organisation by end June 2010.

We successfully upgraded to 9001:2008 in September 09 & secured continued accreditation to National Highway Sector Scheme 8.

The QEHS department is currently introducing an Environmental Management System to ISO ENV 14001:2004 with a planned certification date of end January 2010, followed by certification to Health & Safety standard BS OHSAS 18001:2007 in June.

The IMS has been written around the generic elements of all three standards allowing for a process driven tool to leverage data driven improvements, whilst eliminating the duplication & waste of running separate systems.
